As we enter our third year of living with Autism - of trying to help Sophie make sense of the world and of trying to make sense of the totally crazy numbers of children with this disorder - I once again am asking for your support. I often get confused myself as to where to put resources and whom to support, but I do know that Autism United is actively trying to slow this crazy epidemic. They have successfully lobbied to stop additional vaccines from becoming mandatory in New York, they have, in conjunction with other advocacy groups, gotten a law passed that has made vaccines containing mercury illegal in New York, and they have been there for me every time I have called their office. I can't think of another charity that can say that. So, once again, I am asking you to consider making a generous donation to Autism United.
